男，博士，教授
1967年生。
1989年获北京大学理学学士，
1992年获北京大学理学硕士，1995年获北京大学理学博士学位。
1995-1997年，新加坡国立大学化学系，博士后;
1997-1998年6月，新加坡材料与工程研究院, 副研究员;
1998年6月-2000年1月, 美国加利福尼亚州立大学圣巴巴拉分校, 访问学者;
2000年-2001年8月, 新加坡材料与工程研究院, 副研究员, 研究员; 2001年4月起,北京大学化学与分子工程学院。
研究领域和兴趣：
1． 水溶共轭高分子的设计，合成，表征和应用；
2． 应用于有机光电二极管和化学和生物传感器的有机发光材料；
3． 树枝状高分子材料的设计, 合成和应用；
4． 多功能性有机分子材料的设计，合成和应用;
5． 有机发光材料的自组装结构的研究和其性质。s
