廖克俭,男,1956年12 月出生于辽宁省丹东。现为辽宁石油化工大学石油化工学院副院长,教授,博士。

近几年教学、科研成绩较为突出,连续六年在全校的业绩点统计排名均名列前8名。教学方面,能做到为人师表,认真讲好每一堂课,坚持本科生、研究生教学,教学工作量每年都在1000当量学时以上。近几年为学校培养了23名研究生(已毕业),其中2名研究生获得侯祥麟奖学金,现在校研究生15名。在2003年首届优秀研究生导师评选中获得“优秀研究生导师”称号。近五年来组织完成和正在进行的科研项目20项,其中获得省部级奖2项,鉴定2项,工业化2项,科研进款额200余万元,发表论文100余篇,其中EI收录25篇,SCIE收录10篇,出版专著4部。根据以上业绩,于2003年被评为校级学科带头人。
