亦称雉形鸦鹃(pheasant coucal)。杜鹃科(Cuculidae)鸦鹃属(Centropus)鸟类。体长33公分(13吋)，体羽深褐色，缀以白色细横斑；分布于澳大利亚和新几内亚。
