Education Background:
In 1982, he gained the bachelor’s degree of law and became the teacher of Soochow University. After then, he received further education organized by Ministry of Education and Ministry of Judiciary. In 2002, he went to the Law School of HongKong University as a visiting scholar.
Work Experience:
Now he works as dictator of doctors in the direction of public law theory and masters in jurisprudence. After the entrance examination was resumed in 1977, He entered the political education department of Soochow University.

Main Contribution on Academe:
The study of legislative equality paved the way to the justice of “legislative equality” and the transformation of our country’s legislative notion. A series of works, as “Jurisprudence——Exploration under the Market Economy” and “On the Free Law”, promoted the transition of the study pattern of jurisprudence and the evolution of the spirit of China’s law. “Regulating Power——Studying Power from the Perspective of Jurisprudence” filled up the gap of the study of power from the aspect of jurisprudence, which provided theory for regulating power and establishing balanced power structure of democracy and rule of law. Professor Zhou especially advocates free spirit of personality and independent study of law. He mainly adopts comparative and critical study methods. All these are for his lofty ideal of establishing a world of rule of law for human beings.
