个人简介很少有人知道，在密执安长大的爱尔兰裔美国人特里·奥奎因，还是一位极富才华的吉它手和歌手。大学毕业后做过保镖的他，因为与1013 Productions的Chris Carter是好朋友，所以在他大部分作品中亮相过，像《X-档案》（X Files）、《残酷的国度》（Harsh Realm）和《Millennium》等。奥奎因从20多岁就开始败顶，所以他在影视作品中多以光头形象示人。J.J. Abrams在两部热播剧《双面女间谍》（Alias）和《迷失》（Lost）中都启用了他，因为先前的合作关系，奥奎因成为《迷失》中少数几个未经试戏就拍板的演员。1988年《继父》（The Stepfather）为他赢得了独立精神奖的最佳男主角提名。2005年他因为《迷失》获得艾美奖剧情类最佳男配角提名，2007年又因为同一部剧集获得相同的艾美提名。
