李先义， 男（1966.3--），湖南衡南人，九三学社成员；2004年1月华东师范大学应用数学专业博士提前毕业，2005年—2006年在法国里尔科技大学数学系做博士后；99年7月湖南省破格晋升副教授，2003年8月湖南省破格晋升教授；03年评为硕导，2007年聘为博导；湖南省学科带头人（05），湖南省青年骨干教师（03），首批入选《湖南省新世纪‘121’人才工程》（04）。
国际期刊《Scientific Research and Essay》与《The Open Applied Mathematics Journal》编委、《African Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science Research》副主编；国内外10余种期刊《J. Math. Anal. Appl》、《Comput. Math. Appl.》、《Appl. Math. Comput.》、《Appl. Math.Letters》、《Adv. Diff. Equa.》、《Acta Mathematica Scientia》、《Numerical Algrothms》、《Annals Diff. Equa.》、《高校应用数学学报》等的审稿专家：。
曾任全国大学生数学建模竞赛湖南组委会委员（03-06）、南华大学数理学院副院长（04.1—08.1）、南华大学学报（自科版）》编委、湖南省自然科学基金、湖南省杰出青年基金、湖南省科技进步奖、湖南省基础研究重点项目、湖南省优秀硕士论文等方面的评审专家。08年2月来深圳大学工作。
主要研究领域：
微分差分方程，离散动力系统，生物数学，数学建模。
至今独立或以第一作者或通讯作者在美、英、德、韩、印度等国的《J. Math. Anal. Appl.》、《Comput. Math. Appl.》、《Appl.Math.Letters》、《J. Diff. Equa. Appl.》、《Int. J. Nonlinear Sci. Numerical Simul.》、《Rostocker Mathematischne Kolloquium》、《J. Korean Math. Society》、《Indian J. Pure Appl.Math.》等国际刊物发表科研论文20余篇, 在国家核心刊物《科学通报》、《应用数学学报》(英文版)、《数学物理学报》(英文版)、《高校应用数学学报》(英文版)、《Appl.Math.Mech.》等期刊上面发表科研论文近30篇；解决了《J. Diff. Equa. Appl.》等国际刊物上提出的多个“Open Problems and Conjectures”, 建立了研究有理差分方程轨道结构规律的新方法。论文至今被SCI收录21篇、EI收录9篇；被SCI他引20多篇次。
主持国家自然科学基金、数学天元基金、湖南省教育厅优秀青年项目、湖南省教育厅一般项目、《湖南省学科带头人》基金、《湖南省新世纪121人才工程》基金、《湖南省青年骨干教师》基金等课题、项目10余项；参加国家自然科学基金面上项目2项、省部级科研课题3项。
被评为“湖南省高等学校科技工作先进工作者”（99）；获“衡阳市自然科学优秀论文一等奖（独著）”（01）、“湖南省自然科学优秀论文三等奖（独著）”（01）、山东省优秀科研成果三等奖（第二）（01）、 “上海市交通银行奖学金”（02）；被评为 "衡阳市先进科技工作者”（03）；获“华东师范大学优秀研究生奖学金”（03）； 获全国第三届“秦元勋常微分方程奖”（05）；博士论文被评为“上海市研究生优秀成果”（06）；获“第七届全国多媒体课件大赛 三等奖” (07)、 “湖南省高等学校多媒体软件大奖赛一等奖"(07) 。
曾应邀访问德国Ulm大学和法国Haute Alsace 大学，各作大会报告一个；参加法国马赛举办的一次国际数学会议。
大学毕业以后一直在高校从事教学与科研工作。主讲过本科生及研究生数学的一些主干课程；教学效果优秀，获省级、校级教学成果奖多次。主持或参加教研项目多项。
培训指导学生参加国际国内数学建模竞赛获国际二等奖、全国二等奖、湖南省二等奖、三等奖多项。
