来自美国的Daphne Loves Derby组建于2004年,乐队成员包括鼓手Stu Clay 17岁，贝司兼唱Jason Call 17岁，主音兼吉他手Kenny Choi 19岁，就是一只这样平均年龄不到18岁的indie乐队,在2005年初发行了乐队首张EP,Closing Down the Pattern Department,并备受美国年轻一代的推崇....短短的半年过去,Daphne Loves Derby就带来了乐队的首张专集On the Strength of All Convinced.
可能是由于年龄的缘故,他们的音乐气质有很自然的清新(但跟Club8那种不同),音乐语言带着未近世事的浪漫,小孩子的真情.但不要小看这只大家常说的幼齿型乐队,论才气论技术他们可跟自己的年龄大不相付!
