B.U.M. EQUIPMENT 1986年创立于美国西雅图,是一个强调年轻.活力的流行服装品牌,主要对象年龄18~25岁的时髦男女.在美的思维下,自由奔放的风格发挥的淋漓尽致,屏除大胆花俏的表面设计,只有坚持一贯的平时内敛特色及强调质感与舒适性,除此有计划的推销管理与行销策略,更使得BUM在年轻服装市场上占有一席之地,更在2003年美国百大成衣零售业中,荣获第61名的排名。

在2000年春夏,长江华业将BUM引进台湾,秉持美式思维与作风,将其定位于年轻化,休闲化的量贩品牌,强调商品搭配性.贯穿性与质感和舒适性,对于手感与水洗效果.材质,做工等变化相当注意,并在价格上让崇尚流行又经费有限的消费者能够负担,串联流行与量贩的桥梁,把流行的商品与平实的消费习性紧紧的结合在一起,让BUM成为休闲流行的新选择。

Well, like a lot of cool things, B.U.M. Equipment was founded in a garage in Seattle. Really. Back in 1986. While hardbods were strutting around town sporting the thin, cheap sweatshirts of their local gyms, B.U.M.'s idea was to mock them a bit by screening great-looking-but-meaningless letters on super-quality cotton sweatshirts to see if anyone would buy them.

In fact, these simple, comfortable, last-for-life sweatshirts were so popular they almost killed the company. Year one orders were $3,000.000. year one shipments were $1,000,000. DO the math. Obviously not a good business plan for future growth. They couldn't keep up!

Fortunately new owners from Los Angeles stepped in to the rescue. Within a few years, sales exceeded $200,000,000. Then just went higher and higher and higher. People all over the world were becoming B.U.M. Lovers. Now, a success long past the decade mark, B.U.M. has moved from a fad to a classic. Many, many people all over the world have their own favorite piece of B.U.M. clothing. That old sweatshirt, those super-comfy sweatpants. They live in 'em, sleep in 'em, even work in 'em.

What started as simple sweatshirts, has now moved way beyond just those luxurious tops. B.U.M. Equipment quality is now also available in bottoms, bags, coats, Jeanswear, footwear, underwear, socks, swimwear, sleepwear, eyewear, watches, kid's sizes and more.

That's the whole, amazing, typical American success story. Started in a garage. Shot through the roof. Today managed by seasoned-but-wildly-fun pros in New Jersey and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Loved around the world.
