清华大学数学科学系教授法国巴黎第七大学博士，清华大学数学科学系教授，博导。现任《数学学报》（中英文版）和《应用泛函分析学报》编委。曾获第五届中国青年科技奖、教育部科技进步三等奖和清华大学首届学术新人奖。自1992年至今开始未间断地得到国家自然科学基金委青年基金、面上基金和天元基金的资助。还得到过教育部第五届霍英东青年教师基金和教育部优秀青年教师资助计划的资助。2004年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。曾多次应邀到法国、德国、荷兰、意大利、加拿大和西班牙等国访问。曾获德国洪堡基金资助。
主要从事巴拿赫空间几何学以及向量值调和分析的研究。在巴拿赫空间几何学方面，给出了著名的Krivine－Maurey定理的新证明，解决了Edgar猜想。在向量值调和分析方面，建立了向量值Bochner函数空间上的算子值傅里叶乘子定理，并将其成功地应用到了向量值边值问题最大正则性研究中。
