简介多明尼克在格林威治出生长大，母亲Julie是一位幼儿园老师，2000年从LAMDA伦敦音乐艺术学院(London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art)毕业。
多米尼克出演阿兰·本奈特的戏剧《The History Boys》(《历史男孩》)中的Dakin，先后在伦敦、美国百老汇、华盛顿、悉尼以及香港等地演出该剧。同时出演了该剧的电影版。近作有《妈妈咪呀！》、《公爵夫人》及BBC剧集《理智与情感》。新作是《成长教育》。
在同长达12年的女友Joanna Carolan分手后，正与在《妈妈咪呀！》中合作的女演员Amanda Seyfried交往。
