据悉，ubuntu studio x将会使用GNOME+KDE双桌面，参考了大量Archlinux、fedora、Debian与opensuse的设计灵感，同时还会完善内核，增加更多针对多媒体爱好者开发的软件包，例如dssi-vst和wine。
