剧情简介拥有英俊外貌的史蒂芬（《天才雷普利》裘德洛饰）总能轻易掳获女人的芳心，但他依旧觉得孤寂，于是他只有日复一日的追求爱情、游戏人间。
警察连续发现两具女尸，死者生前都与史蒂芬交往过，因而引起警方的怀疑，而将他列为头号嫌疑犯。
就在警方侦察的同时，史蒂芬邂逅了一女孩安，她被这个风流倜傥的男人深深吸引，却不知自己正一步步步入死亡阱陷……
警方始终无法找出史蒂芬涉案的有力证据，案情因而陷入胶著；另一方面史蒂芬的情绪愈来愈反覆无常，安愈来愈害怕，愈来愈疑怀史蒂芬究竟在隐瞒些什么？
