剧情介绍美国青年杰克和戴维在英格兰北部的沼泽地里遭到一个狼人的袭击，杰克不幸死亡，戴维被附近的村民救起。住院恢复期间以及伤愈出院后，杰克的幽灵常常打扰戴维。幽灵告诉杰克，他已经染上了狼人血统，劝戴维尽快结束自己生命，以免再去害人。每到月圆之夜，镇上就有人死亡，几乎所有的尸体上都留有被野兽吞咬的痕迹。第二天，戴维从布告上得知这是自己所为。他请求人们逮捕自己，但没人理睬。他想斩断自己的双手，又没有勇气。在电影院里，戴维再次变态杀人，被人当场开枪击毙。
