威廉·欧内斯特·亨里（William Ernest Henley，1849–1903年），英国作家、编辑和文学评论家。主要以诗作《不可征服》闻名。这首诗是他因为童年所患疾病引起的并发症而在爱丁堡医院住院（1873-75年）期间创作的，属于“医院速写”系列作品的一部分，发表在《康希尔杂志》（1875年）上。

OUT of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
