电气安全指令-适用范围LVD 2006/95/EC适用于所有本身功能使用电压范围在交流50~1000V，直流75~1500V的电气产品，这个定义系指指令的适用范围，而不是指令适用的限制 (例如，在使用交流230V的计算机中，直流12V的电路所造成的危险也受LVD的规范)。LVD适用于提供给消费者和工业使用的产品，如果是工业用设备，指令也涵盖了制造商本身使用的产品(例如: 测试设备)。本指令已于2007年1月16日起强制执行。

Specialised electrical equipment, for use on ships, aircraft or railways, which complies with the safety provisions drawn up 使用在有专用要求的船舶，航天或铁路上的电气设备
by international bodies in which the Member States participate.国际性组织成员分享的设备什么是LVDLVD与EMC一样，都是CE认证里的其中一项指令。CE认证根据不同的产品做出不同的指令认证，EMC是CE里的电磁兼容指令Electromagnetic Compatibility，而LVD是CE里的低电压指令，低电压设备的定义为额定电压为交流电时50到1000伏特间，直流电时75到1500伏特间的电气设备。
电气安全CE认证-协调标准如果一种产品是根据欧洲的标准来设计并遵守欧洲标准，这样便假定该产品是符合指示中的安全要求。例如，EN60598覆盖照明产品，而EN60335则覆盖家用电气。
符合性声明制造商或其授权的代表必须将CE标志贴在产品上，并起草一份符合性声明，细节如下：
◆ name and address of the manufacturer or his authorised representative established within the Community制造商或其授权的欧洲代表的名称及地址,
◆ a description of the electrical equipment电气设备的说明,
◆ reference to the harmonised standards参考的协调标准,
◆ where appropriate, references to the specifications with which conformity is declared适当时，指出符合性声明所依赖的规范,
◆ identification of the signatory who has been empowered to enter into commitments on behalf of the manufacturer or his authorised representative established within the Community识别谁有能力代表制造商或欧盟授权代表签署,
◆ the last two digits of the year in which the CE marking was affixed.
技术文件Technical documentation must enable the conformity of the electrical equipment to the requirements of this Directive to be assessed. It must, as far as relevant for such assessment, cover the design, manufacture and operation of the electrical equipment. It must include:
◆ a general description of the electrical equipment 电气设备的一般描述
◆ conceptual design and manufacturing drawings and schemes of components, sub-assemblies, circuits, etc. 元件，附件，电路的概念性设计和制造图纸和方案
◆ descriptions and explanations necessary for the understanding of said drawings and schemes and the operationof the electrical equipment上述图表和方案以及电气设备操作的必要的解释和描述
◆ a list of the standards applied in full or in part, and descriptions of the solutions adopted to satisfy the safety aspects of this Directive where standards have not been applied,全部或部分引用标准的清单，在未采用标准时，为满足安全要求所采用的的解决方法
◆ results of design calculations made, examinations carried out, etc.设计计算，检查执行的结果
