山东大学副校长天然药物化学专业硕士、博士生导师。1965年3月出生，山东省苍山县人，中共党
员，博士，现任山东大学党委常委、副校长。
教育经历：
1984年7月：山东医学院药学系获理学学士学位
1988年7月：山东省医学科学院药物研究所获医学硕士学位
1991年7月：沈阳药科大学获理学博士学位
工作经历：
1991年7月山东医科大学药学系任教，先后被聘为副教授、教授；1996年1月任山东医科大学药学系副主任；1997年12月任山东医科大学药学院副院长，其间，1997年3月至1998年11月在日本国立生命工业技术研究所访问研究；1998年11月任山东医科大学药学院院长；2001年1月任山东大学药学院院长；2003年10月任山东大学校长助理、药学院院长；2004年1月任山东大学校长助理、研究生院常务副院长、药学院院长；2005年10月任山东大学党委常委、副校长。
近年来担任的主要社会兼职：中国药学会理事，山东省药学会第九届理事会副理事长。
现任《Phytochemical Analysis》、《中草药》、《天然产物研究与开发》、《中国药学(英文版)》、《中国药物化学杂志》、《国外医药-植物药分册》和《山东大学学报(医学版)》等期刊编委。
作为课题负责人近年来先后承担：国家自然科学基金4项，教育部重点科研课题，教育部优秀青年资助计划课题，教育部留学回国启动基金、山东省重点科研课题等多项，与企业合作开展的新药研发课题多项。开展了多酚类化合物等抗氧化剂与糖尿病并发症预防方面的深入研究；中国苔藓植物化学成分系统研究，对苔藓植物抗真菌、抗真菌耐药等进行了较系统的研究，有许多新的发现和突破。目前已完成了近40种动植物活性化合物的研究工作，发现新结构化合物100多个，发表学术论文90余篇，SCI引用近20篇。已经获得新药证书的新药3项，获得批准进行临床研究的新药5项，临床待批的新药4项，进行中的新药4项，申请中的专利9项。
