捕鸟蛛科
通常说的毛蜘蛛属于Theraphosidae捕鸟蛛科,是比较原始的一科。至今已被发现的约有830多种。捕鸟蜘为原疣亚目种类，单眼集中于头胸部上方，与其他原疣亚目最大不同为其步脚具步端毛束。
