四型男吴彦祖、陈子聪、尹子维及连凯新组成的“Alive”男子组合，前日宣告正式诞生。Alive最近收到Fans电邮，指“Alive”的新歌《阿当的抉择》，在网上已可非法下载，令他们大感愕然，亦感到很窘，他们新碟都未推出，现在亦因为有非法下载，打乱他们的出碟计划。他们已决定不签唱片公司，以后将新歌全放在网站，任大家免费下载。这意味着Alive确定以网络组合的身份晋身乐坛，成为一个网上男子组合。

昨天四位帅哥在成龙公司一起开香槟，预祝演出成功，并宣布官方网站“alivenotdead。com”正式成立。歌迷可以在其网站上在线收听新歌，同时亦可下载MV片断。而Alive已经开通了博客，四位型男各自以网络日记形式与歌迷展开互动，其中最新一篇日记是7月31日吴彦祖写的“南非之行”。他们本打算今年推出EP，还与唱片公司洽谈签约事宜。但吴彦祖不久前收到fans电邮告知，他们的新歌“阿当的抉择”在网上可以非法下载，四人都感到很愕然，也十分气愤，因为此举将他们的出唱片计划给打乱了。
如今他们决定暂时不签唱片公司，以后若有新歌都会放上网站，免费供大家下载。网站内有四人的照片和MV及一些趣闻轶事，成立此网站，须耗资上百万港币，由四人平均分担，他们早前合作拍广告的酬劳便是资金。吴彦祖说，组成alive 并非想赚钱，只是希望表达音乐理想以及鼓励年轻人多些创作。
吴彦祖表示Alive制作网站等音乐工作，已花了7位数字制作费，他们惟有靠赞助及广告维持，但四人制作却绝不马虎，更找来张叔平负责形象设计。网址内除有组合新歌下载外，还有乐队特制T恤订购，以及四人随笔等等，希望藉此与乐迷拉近距离。稍后他们还会举行处男作音乐会，也希望年底可竞逐乐坛新人奖，子聪则说：“现在唱片已变成杯垫，买碟送礼物太商业了。”问他们是否想对撼F4？子聪笑说：“我不认识F4，虽然未必够他们帅气，但我们会赢的。”
吴彦祖指出，现在的歌手即使出唱片，若卖3千张也没钱赚。他们这支“A4”四人组合是否想挑战F4？四人听了立即大笑，陈子聪更装蒜：“我们不认识他们，F4是什么人？”吴彦祖则笑言，如果与F4相比，他们也会赢，因他们个个能打，只是没有F4那么帅。
“A4”四子的广东话都发音不正，但灌录的第一首歌却是广东歌。其实他们以前都曾分别被唱片公司看中，尹子维就出过EP，两年前这四位好友开始商讨尝试新事物，结果不约而同选择了音乐，进一步自立门户组成“alive”。陈子聪早前与爱妻何超仪赴外地旅游后，超仪感染病菌，两人都要接受隔离。陈子聪说，太太已没事。
吴彦祖，尹子维，连凯和陈子聪组成帅哥四人组，颇有挑战F4的趋势，其实他们四人只是把自己喜爱的音乐在新开设的网站上与大家分享，只求兴趣，不求名利。而昨天吴彦祖等四人首次以ALIVE歌手身份出席记者会，宣布了新网站的成立。四人表示时下网上下载已成为一股流行趋势，因此决定建立属于自己的网站，以取代传统的CD。而这个网站不仅提供乐迷免费下载，同时也能让大家分享歌手的音乐心得。在他们的官方网站上，除了介绍ALIVE的最新动向之外，里面还会有他们的最新歌曲，音乐录影带以及幕后拍摄花絮片段等。
