【简介】
对于拿破仑的生平，很多时候都是一个谜，从历史课本中，我们知道他失败后被流放，但是后来又重新杀回法国，又失败，又被流放，直至老死。这个故事也很多次地被搬上了银幕，包括拿破仑的那部类似记录片的电视电影。这次又从另外一种角度来诠释了一段这个故事。
英国人为曾经战无不胜的拿破仑大帝选择了大西洋的圣赫勒拿岛作为他的流放地．这是个离非洲大陆海岸线有近2000公里只遥的荒岛，在这个有122平方公里的岛上驻守着3000士兵以及11艘战舰，拿破仑会甘心在这座孤岛上终此一生吗？他能设想出摆脱英军看守的妙计吗？他将策划的是一场神秘的战争，这是他一生中的最后一场大战，也是最为关键的一战，虽然这场战争在历史上并没有被记录……
拿破仑于1815年被放逐该岛，1821年在岛上去世．而再明间流传着拿破仑之死另有替身的故事．本片就是由民间流传的的故事改编的并以侦探片的形式鲜活的描述了这个历史之谜……
