卢冠忠教授，博士生导师。男，1956年10月出生，浙江东阳人。1989年13月毕业于华东理工大学化学系，获工学博士学位。曾任华东理工大学化学系主任、工业催化研究所所长，理学院院长，现为校党委副书记，工业催化博士生导师组组长。国家重点基础研究发展(973)计划项目首席科学家，现任上海应用技术学院院长。
中国化学会催化专业委员会委员，中国稀上学会催化专业委员会副主任，中国化学会《分子催化》杂志和《华东理工大学学报》编委，上海市高校青年教师协会理事长等。近年来，在“稀土氧化物催化剂”、“非贵金属型汽车尾气净化与废气治理催化剂”、“新型固体酸和杂原子分子筛催化剂”、“无机复合膜催化剂与反应器”等方面的科学研究中，取得了许多创新的研究成果。作为项目负责人，已完成了国家、市(部)级、石化公司等各种研究项目14项，在围内外学术期刊上发表论文80余篇，多项成果通过技术鉴定和应用。同时在本科和研究生的教学、育人等方面也做出了显著的成绩。 曾被评为上海市新长征突击手，全国模范军队转业干部，华东理工大学首届青年“启明星”，上海市优秀教育工作者，上海市高校优秀青年教师一等奖等。获上海市科技进步奖和首届“上海市化学化工学会庄长恭专项奖励基金提名奖”。入选上海市跨世纪人才培养的首届“曙光计划”、上海市“优秀学科带头人”和国家教委“跨世纪优秀人才”培养计划。
