陈士华：男，教授。1989年在吉林大学获理学硕士学位， 1995年在武汉大学获理学博士学位。主要从事微分方程定性理论及混沌动力系统的控制与同步研究。主持和参加省部级科研课题3项。在国内外学术期刊上发表论文30余篇，其中SCI/SCIE收录8篇， EI收录2篇。

陈士华(1925—1950)，山东郯城县人。1945年10月，加入中国共产党，次年1月入伍。1949年6月，随军南下至临海县，任中共涌泉区委民运委员、区农民协会主任。次年4月任区副书记。在涌泉区工作时，率武工队下乡剿匪。访贫问苦，深入发动群众，组织民兵建立剿匪基点村，开展剿匪活动，多次取得胜利。1950年5月17日舟山解放后，400余海匪窜至桐峙山与当地匪首应俊良、翁阳初等勾结，包围溪路乡9个反匪先进村，妄图攻打乡公所。士华率武工队组织民兵主动出击，数次击退海匪进攻。6月22日凌晨，与区长陈庆坤、通讯员王奎芝赴海门向军分区汇报情况，在马头山附近江面遇匪首陈亨加、应俊良等80余匪徒。激战中，陈庆坤、王奎芝牺牲，士华弹尽，跳入江中游了2里多路，至管岙上岸时不幸被土匪抓住。匪首软硬兼施，妄图逼降，士华斩钉截铁地说：“我是共产党员，为了人民翻身解放，甘愿牺牲自己的一切!”匪徒们见劝降不成，先用刺刀挑断脚筋，浇油烧掉头发。陈士华始终威武不屈，高呼：“共产党万岁!毛主席万岁!”就义时，年仅25岁。6月28日，溪路乡各村民300余人在县大队统一指挥下，冲上大山头，捣毁匪窝，运回烈士遗体。29日召开数千人追悼大会，隆重举行安葬仪式。中共台州地委追认为模范共产党员。
