郑州轻工业学院国际教育学院是一个集国际交流合作、国际教育、国内培训及国内合作为一体的综合性部门。与国外知名大学进行以联合办学为主的校际间合作。目前已成功启动了一些联合办学项目，在合作办学方面走在河南省同类院校的前列。在联合办学的带动下，还积极开拓其他领域里的合作，如教学科研信息互通有无，教师互访，学生互访等。中心具有一流的师资力量，常年聘请外籍专家任课，教学设施国内一流，目前已全部实现数字化教学和网络化办公，是合作和有志出国深造者的理想选择。作为河南省第一所中外合作办学的本科院校，郑州轻工业学院国际教育学院已成功地开展了研究生层次、本科生层次、专业英语培训、雅思（IELTS）考试等一系列中外合作教育项目。近年来先后与英国、澳大利亚、美国、加拿大等多所院校合作办学。参加郑州轻工业学院中外合作办学本科项目的学生通过国家高考计划内录取，在郑州轻工业学院IEC学习期间，既可以享受郑州轻工业学院的教育资源，又可以受益于引进的国外优质教育资源，同时，所修专业课程学分国内和国外校际合作办学大学互认。在完成本科学业后，由郑州轻工业学院按照国家规定颁发毕业证书并授予学士学位。该项目已连续招生五年，现有国家统招的中外合作办学项目在校本科学生1700余人，6个本科专业（方向），已有两届毕业生或就业，或继续深造。
国际教育学院拥有一流的教学环境。按照国际标准建立的专用教学大楼位于郑州轻工业学院校园的中心位置，所有教室都装有闭路、空调和网络信息点。IEC的学生有更多求学选择，可以共享郑州轻工业学院和国外合作大学的优质教育资源，其培养模式与国际接轨。
As a multi-purpose organization handling collectively international education and exchange, domestic training and cooperation, IEC has started an all-level educational cooperation with outstanding foreign universities. So far several education programs have been successfully launched. IEC is now taking the leadership role in Henan Province in the field of international educational cooperation. Under this circumstance, cooperation in other aspects have also been started, including teaching and research cooperation, exchange of information, exchange of teachers and students as visiting personnel to both sides. IEC is staffed with foreign experts and well-qualified domestic teachers. It also boasts some first-rate teaching and researching facilities. At present, all the teaching affairs are facilitated by the internal network that knit the whole center into a fabric of digital information.
