28. How do I obtain the latest version of this FAQ? On the world wide web
There is currently only a single-page hypertext version of this document, maintained at http://www.cpan.org/authors/id/C/CL/CLAIRD/ptkFAQ.html (and, in a pinch, http://starbase.neosoft.com/~claird/comp.lang.perl.tk/ptkFAQ.html). It's possible we'll someday again generate
* hypertext (split by question)
* multi-part plaintext
* single-file plaintext
* gzipped Postscript (on either US-style or A4 pages)
versions.
I will happily pass this ptkFAQ.html on to the next engineer willing to take good care of it. I consider my cultivation of this FAQ as temporary, good only until a more suitable candidate offers a good home for it.
In the meantime, there's one aspect of FAQ maintenance with which I particularly need help. Reference to this FAQ should appear in the perl.com FAQ page. However, I've been unable to reach Mark-Jason Dominus and Clay Irving, its maintainers, either by e-mail or telephone. I'd be pleased if someone closer to the action could bring us together so at least one hyperlink to this document appeared there. I speculate that part of the problem might be related to RBL run-ins my e-mail has suffered.
