It was a good party. Tina was there. She laughed at all my jokes.She's very broad-minded-she doesn't get offended by anything.Danny arrived late, of course.He's really hard-working. And John was telling everybody how clever he is. That man is so bigheaded.His wife is just as bad.She tells us how rich and happy and lucky she is all the time. She so self-satisfied ! Oh and the diet's finished.
I'm not strong-willed enough. After the party I helped Danny eat all the sandwiches that were left.

when I lived in London l had no idea who lived in the next house，but in this viilage people are very neighboilrly—we're in and out of each Other’s houses all the time．And it’s true that country people are more friendly—there seems to be more time to stop and talk．I couldn't live in an isolated house in the middle of a field，but living quietly in a small viilage suits me well．The only real problem is transport．There's a station in the village but the trains are a bit
unreliable.
