I have configed my IP when i install the solaris 8 with no errors.But I can not ping the gateway and any other computer in the same workgroup.
How can i confige the net configeration?

什么网卡?solaris 8不支持NE2000
其实我觉得除非为了学习,否则还是不要用那个东西

Did you add your default gateway in your /etc/defaultrouter file?

系统里原先是没有这个文件的，
我自己创建了一个。
就写了一行。：
166.111.72.1
不知这样写行不行？

正确，就是自己生成这个文件，让后把内容写进去。
用vi即可

怎么不行？我说的比较具体了，也请你说的具体点。
166。111。72。1是你的默认网关，是否可以ping
通？再ping 166.111.8.28，或其它与本机不再同
一子网内的任何主机，在用nslookup查看默认的
dns server.到底是那不行呀！！你倒是说清楚。

假如网卡在安装的时间能认出是DEC21140，并且能设置IP，也没有出错，是不是
就是说网卡是能用的？

上篇文章里的文件名是我写错了，但是现在还是ping 不通网关。
子网内的机器也是不通的。。
