jNode:一个java+少量汇编写就的稳定，易用的操作系统。经过和主要开发人员的邮件确认，在一个星期之内，jNode就会推出新版本，一个图形界面的纯java的操作系统。
两个月前我写过一篇文章《jNode:一个开源的java操作系统》。今天在网上一查，原来半年前已经有一个老外写过同样题目的文章。在www.javalobby.org的论坛上，这篇文章引起了广泛的讨论。

I think JNode is fantastic...it's a project that has allready proven that IT CAN BE DONE!... from now on the Java OS is not just a dream but a metter of support from the comunity. The nice thing about JNode is that it is PURE JAVA!! just 1 single class has some ASM code and the rest is all in java..PCI bus driver is in java, memory management is in java, NVidia driver is in java...network stack is in java..it's all java guys... When asks what you can do with such an OS it's like asking himself why have I become an IT specialist having no clue of anything... it's stupid and dumb to ask such thing. And for LINUX freaks...hmm...linux it's trash..it's free but trash. If Linux would cost 30$ only no one would use it anymore. Linux it's crap but was succesful in atracting the anti microsoft freeks..and the ones that believe that they are some kind of Joana'dArc of IT...this is my personal opinion. Linux shows no inovation... and when Longhorn will come into the market(which has at it's core the .NET VM) there will be no more discussion about linux on Desktops coze Longhorn has some technologys that will never be available in Linux world. I am asking myself how many would still use Linux as home desktop PC if somone would give them a Windows XP licence for free..hmm..not many... BeOS was the only OS that had the potential to kick microsofts ass in desktop computing..and now maybe SkyOS will have a chance..but Linux...never!.
