Installation Environment:
1.fresh system with Windows 2003 Adv. Server and Sql Server 2000 with sp3
2.the machine is a member of a workgroup
Installation Sequence:
1. install SharePoint Portal Server 2003 using default settings, except that the desktop database engine is not installed
2. change computer name before a dialog appears and prompts the user to input account name and password for the installation
3. after changing the computer's name, input the modified machinename\account and the password in the dialog metioned above, and proceed
Oops, a C++ run time error will occur, fortunately the installation will roll back.
