2. Reflections for SARS
3. Your opinions
Recently the issue of SARS has aroused nation-wide concern. No one can deny the fact that SARS has a great impact on our economy, education, and daily life.
There are several reflections for SARS but the main three are as follows: First, knowledge of hygiene should be popularized and the awareness of personal hygiene among all citizens should be raised. Second, an entire nation athletic sports should be developed. Last but not least, the governments at all levels should lay down laws and regulations to ensure a good environment to live in.
However, there is a good side and a bad side to everything, so is SARS. In my opinion, SARS has taught us a good lesson. We should turn bad things to good things, that is, turn SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) into another SARS (support, amor, responsibility and solidification). I rest assured that tomorrow will be much better than today. (152 words)

Title: On Continuing Education
Word limit: at least 200 words
Your composition should be based on the OUTLINE below.
1. The current situation
2. The purposes of continuing education
3. Your attitude
On Continuing Education
With the rapid development of science and technology, more and more people are showing their concern over the issue of continuing education.
In my opinion, there are at least five purposes of people’s continuing education. The first of these is to stay in touch with developments in professional knowledge. The second is to keep up with changes in the relevant basic disciplines. The third aim is to master new ideas about the nature of the profession itself. The fourth purpose of career-oriented continuing education is to prepare the individual for changes in his or her career. The last but not the least is to continue growing as a well-rounded person.
So far as I am concerned, I will seek any opportunity to have a further study. As an English proverb says, “Live and Learn”. I rest assured that we can cultivate ourselves in being good citizens if we continue to have education. (152 words)
