Everyone has the glory moment in his life, win glory for country, get glory for school, gain glory for family, of course, catch the glory moment for yourself. Compare with the VIP’s , what I did seemed nothing, but it did let me enjoy a special glory moment.When I was in campus, the department was about to hold a debating. Being a shy and seldom speaking person, I should be the last one who could have the honor to be the arguer. But everything is not destined, by a chance, I was elected to be a sub-candidate, hope is still slim, since the main candidates seemed in good condition. “ Fay, Zhao is ill, we are afraid he won’t attend the debating, will you be on his seat?”. “ Well, me? Oh…. Sure, but I haven’t prepared yet, look, it’s only too days left”. “ Come on, Fay, you won’t do more, just read the evidence written in the notes”. “ ok, but……” whatever I spoke, I was dragged to fill the vacancy.Two days passed quickly. What could I do was read the notes scrappily, the worst thing is I couldn’t co-operate with other team members.The awkward time came, after the second arguer’s speech, I had to stand up, took the notes, began to read. I could see my trembling hand, after all, I hadn’t state my ideas before so many people. I just felt myself was reading mechanically, when I heard the applause, I could hardly believe my ears. Glancing people off stage, I said thank you with smile unintentionally. In the bravo, I was forgetting the shy illness and smiling to the end. Of course, without enough preparation, I almost kept silence in the free debate time. “ The best arguer in this game is Fay from opposite team”. Oh my goodness! It pushed me to the nine cloud high. It was me? Oh, yes. I didn’t know how I moved to the center of the stage to say thank you, but I really did. I was under the glory, a sub-candidate, the last one who could be a candidate. After the debating, the other team members asked me, how could I make such an passionate speech, How could I tell that? As I known, I was so nervous, even trembling onstage. I was also asked about how did I be such elegant with smile to state the debating view, I was puzzled, I even couldn’t remember what I did in the debate, all the things just messed. All in all, I won the glory for my class, for my team, for myself. I couldn’t express why I could be such a person in that case, maybe it’s from my nature which I never realized. What I gained from the debating is don’t degrade yourself . See, I was befallen by the special glory, the applause helped me to find my confidence back, remember, every dogs have their days. Now I am back to the shy, seldom speaking person again, can I get the incredible glory again? I do hope so.
