Hi Facearmy,
It isn't my Bible, but it is a Holy Book that I respect greatly. The first part, called the Old Testament is the Jewish Holy Book. The second part, called the New Testament is the Christian Holy Book, although they also believe that the first part is a Holy Book, too.
As to how old the Old Testament is, I don't know. Maybe there is someone here who can tell you that.
I have been looking at three timelines I own. The first, by Isaac Asimov which ends in 2000 AD I will supply below, and then add some dates to it from a simpler one I have dated 1959. I will note which are added from the 1959 timeline with the date (1959)like this in brackets behind any information.
I have another very detailed timeline with information from many cultures which begin at 1000 years BC.
I haven't compared any of these with your information yet because I have to convert your dates. I will try later to incorporate yours into this if possible.
Baha'u'llah said that we need a true "History of the World" which is fair, and accurate, and reflects more than the dominant groups. Some day we will have it, and wouldn't that be interesting to read! :-)
Best wishes always, Mary
