Advice for People Going AbroadIt is extremely difficult for Chinese people going abroad. Many persons have been striving for the wonderful opportunity for years and years and finally they succeed. In order to make the journey enjoyable and worthwhile. A fully preparation is quite essential. I am pleased to share some of my experiences abroad with person who are going oversees. There are millions of first times in your lifetime, some of them might be uncommon and beauty and haunt you in the rest of you life. Some of them might like a piece of artwork, can never be copied again. Some of them might hurt you and change your outlook of the world forever. Whatsoever, as the first time go abroad, you must be very excited and expecting it day and night. The minutes before the departure will be endless, that's for sure, because it is terribly difficult for Chinese to go abroad. What we obtain too expensive, we esteem too highly. That's very true. Normally, you will receive your flight ticket a few days before the departure. Some hosts also send the schedule to their guests in advance. Please read them carefully and get to know the details clearly. The flight ticket will be a double one usually. You can get the basic information of the schedule on the ticket, such as the airport where you will take off, and the port where you will set foot on the land of democratic and freedom and where a transfer or connecting will take place. Which airline you will take? Etc. Those are the general information you need to know before your journey. As for luggage preparation, different lists could be drawn up from person to person. But one thing frequently be put on the top of the list is instant noodle for Chinese travelers. However, there were also people like me heavily loaded with the damn cheap food back to China in the end. Therefore, analyze your trip carefully based on information available to predict whether it will be needed or not. If accommodation will be borne by the host, my suggestion is that don't let your trip be spoiled by the fucking food. One thing most probably missing on most of the lists but could be useful in that luxurious country is a pair of slipper. Unlike hotels in China, American hotels don't provide slipper for guests. Toothpaste and toothbrush are also necessary if you keep a habit of cleaning your teeth every day. Those stuffs in United States are more expensive. Medicines for some common illnesses are also worth mentioning. Some people feel sick abroad more frequently than at home due to the time difference and different "water and soil". I was short of medicine last time stayed in Richmond. Even a strong man like me could run out of medicine in U.S. is strong enough to convince you of carrying some medicine with you. The last point I would like to mention is don't bring too much decent clothes with you. You are supposed to wear casual clothes in most situations. Those are some of my advice based on my experiences. I hope it will be of any help to people who are traveling abroad.
