I have been Australia for quite a long time now, I am glad to say Australia is a multicultural society. Although it is not as advanced as America, it is much safer than America. The majority of people here are quite friendly, and they are among some of the most hospital people in this world. English is the first language here, but there are many other languages being spoken here and Chinese is probably spoken by one tenth of the population here.
I live in Sydney; it is the biggest and most populated city in Australia. There are about 500000 people from all over the world visit here every year. Why is it so popular? Well, I am not exactly sure, but this tells us that people all around the world like it so much. Actually, not just them, I love it and I think everybody live here enjoys sharing the land with each other.
Of course, the most important question is that whether Sydney is suitable for us, Chinese migrants? This is a hard question, because different people have different personalities. Some likes adventures others prefer tranquility. However, Australia possesses both entertainment and tranquility. In the city, there are a lot of parties, games and festivals everyday, the major transport here is car, every family has one and they don't cost you a big fortune. Therefore you can visit the city any day you like. On the other hand, if you prefer tranquility, you can stay away from the city but you don't have to go all the way to city for shopping, you can purchase most of the goods and services in your nearby shopping center.
Most important of all, this is a multicultural society, everybody is the same, and no one is superior to anyone else.
