If Tomorrow Is the End of my Life

If tomorrow is the end of my life, this will be so brutal to me. I am lying on the bed of the hospital. Most of my organs are paralyzed, but my ears are sensitive. Through the wall of the my room, I vaguely hear that a doctor says to my parent, “Your child will be live only one more day, we’ve done our best.” Then, I hear the slight weep of my mother. At this moment, my mind is literally calm, my thought is particularly clear. There is only one day left in my life, during the last day, what shall I do? One day contains 1440 minutes, each minute seems so precious to me. At every rare minute, I will cherish the most beautiful things in the world. Whereupon, I think of the sun. Tomorrow, the sun will rise in the east as usual, sunglow will irradiate into the house as usual, and the sky will be as blue as usual. Tomorrow, I must get up early, to see the sun rising from the horizon, to see the drops of golden sunglow, to see the sky which is like a piece of hyaline glass. I must leave all the beautiful things in world in my brain, in my heart. In these short 1440 minutes, I will set aside part of it to say farewell to my relatives and friends. When I was a little child, my grandparents impressed me by their kind diction and smile. Now I must bid farewell to them. My father and my mother love me most, so I will say to them, don’t be grief for my leaving, I will live in your hearts forever. I shall also tell my friends that life is ephemeral and prevail upon them to cherish every day living in the world. However, what I want to do most, is to exhort my doctor to donate my intact organs in my remains to the people who need them. I will also enjoin my doctor preserve the other parts of my remains, and let them become important materials while studying my illness. At last, I will ask my doctor to take out one of my cells and freeze it. Nowadays, iatrology is developing rapidly, especially the technique of clone and gene. Several centuries later, my cell can be unfrozen and be multiplied into a new life. Then, I will acquire a new life, and come to the world again. Death is mysterious to everyone, but we should not be afraid of it. On the last day of my life, I shall do all the things I should do without hesitation, and garnish something florid for my life.
