English is a language which is spoken by many countries as their citizens' first language,so if you learn English well you can make communion with many foreingers,you can understand other cultures deeply,because language is a good way to tell you.As reasons why we should learn English are of course very many,so we should learn it.And if you think you have to learn it,then probably you can't learn it well,because,you know,the interest for every one to learn something is very important.But today i'm not going to tell you how to love English,but tell you how to learn English.I think you can try one or two methods according to your condition,because there are not best ways to study,the best ways to study are the ways which are suit you.
Everyone knows that there are four directions to study English,they are listening,speaking,reading and writing.But which is the most important?In my opinon,these fours are all not.The most important for studying language is feeling.But feeling comes from those four skills.So i'm going to tell you ways to learn listening and speaking.But firstly you should know that these four skills are a system,they are unitive.
ListeningSometimes i think that training listening is full of joy for me,because training has never meant training for me,they can make me feel relax.For example,listening English songs is a good way.I remembered that i began to love old English songs when i was in junior high school,at that time i really made a great progress on feelings to English.When you are tired to study other courses,you can listen them or sing them.That is one of the ways.The second is to listen to broadcast,i'll tell you some good English programs on radio,you can write them down and try to listen to them from today on.Nearly everyday from 6:00 to 6:30 in the morning,there is “大家说英语” on 915FM，this program is for Junior students,it should be easy for you,because its conversations are not only easy,but also are spoken very slow. and then from 6:30 to 7:00 there is “空中英语教室”，this program is really difficult for me,if you want to follow the radiobroadcasters,you have to pay all your attention on it,so generally speaking i don't listen to this program because in the morning i should do many things and i can't be as clear-headed as usually,so to not waste this part of time,i choose another program which also begins from 6:30 to 7:00 on 603MW,this program is about a family ,it is just fit for Senior high school students like us.You see,there are 3 kinds of programs in the morning,you can use the time when you get up or have breakfast to listen them,no matter how much you understand and no matter if you can pay attention,but you should listen,perhaps just listen,because listen it can improve your feelings to English.In the evening there are more program from 8:00 to 8:30 on 603MW there is “英语乐园” or “英语原地”，i beg your pardon that i can't remember the name of it clearly,but i don't think it is important.This program is also very good,everyday it gives different topics,so i suggest that you should listen to it.And then from 8:30 to 9:00 ,still on 603MW there is “张士柏英语网”，the radiobroadcasters are 张士柏 and his sister 张士梅，i like this program very much only because of 张士柏's special experience and his optimism in life.And then from 11:00 to 11:30 there is “空中英语教室” again.And at every O o'clock there are english news on 915FM,so you can also try to listen to them.
SpeakingI think if you want to train your speaking,you should try to find foreigners,but it seems that lots of students don't have this kind of chance.This is not because we can't find them,only because we have no courage,this is the tabooest to study English.I think when we see foreigners,we can say "hello" to them.I remember when i first chatted with foreigners i was 9 years old.On that day my friend and I saw a foreigner buying a watermelon,but the seller can't chat with him.So we said "can i help you " to him,and then we tried our best to translate what the seller said,but our English was too limited.When the seller asked 12 RMB from him,we forgot how to say 12,so we courted the number 1,2,3,4 to 12.That is really very funny,every time when i recalled this memory i always wanted to smile.I think that experience was very important for me,it made me known that English was very useful and all what i have learnt was far to enough.When i had this consciousness,the motive of studying English became clear.So speaking to foreigners is a kind of pressure for everybody.
