ATTITUDE DECIDES ALL
Last month, I was enrolled by a vocational computer training school named Beida
Jade Bird Computer Training Center. To study in this school has been one of my biggest dreams for a long time, so I jumped out of my skin immediately after I received the news that I was enrolled. But, from this, there is a thought produced
in my mind. The thought is the attitude of studying.
Before I attended the computer school, I searched some information about this school in the web site. To my surprise, in the web site, the criticism of the school is more than the praise. In that forum, all elements of the school become the
object of netizens’ criticism. The things that were criticized by the netizen
included the name of the school, its high tuition and the illogical course system and structure. The name of the school is “Beida Qingniao” in Chinese. “Beida” is the shortened form of Peking University, which is a famous university in
China and world, and “Qingniao”, or can be translated into “Jade Bird” in English, is a computer company, which is attaching to Peking University. So, in the web, some netizens who is attending or have graduated from this school said in
their posts. The tuition of this school is too expensive (about 6000 yuan per term) and they haven’t learned anything in this school at all; the teachers are
irresponsible. These netizen also pointed out this school haven’t taught the most basic course that a good computer programmer should master well like “Advanced Mathematics”, “Operation System” and “Data Structure”. They said they can’t image a programmer who haven’t studied these courses can program well in a
software company. So they thought this school is a cheat, it only uses the reputation of Peking University to canvass the students and cheated the money. They
even said it is harm for the reputation of this famous university. Their sharp mood in the posts is unexpected for me. Meanwhile, I also read a lot of ads of the school. In the ads, they wrote they have a complete course system and the system was designed by computer experts from China and India that is called “The kingdom of software”, and in their ads they also said that the employ rate of the
school is very high, a lot of students that graduated from this school were all
recruited by some famous software company such as Huawei in Shenzhen. The contrast between the web and the ads puzzled me at that time, I couldn’t distinguish
which is right and which is wrong. Brought this puzzle, I attended the first class in this computer school.
Until today, I have attended the class in the school for six times. During these classes, I have never felt the teachers are irresponsible. On contrary, I felt the teachers in this school all are responsible teachers. Before class, they prepare for lessons and make the courseware seriously, during the class; they teach the every knowledge carefully, and after class, they also answer the questions that are asked by the students patiently and minutely. Some times they don’t
stop answering students’ questions and leave their office until ten o’clock in
the evening. From these, I can say, the posts about criticize this computer school in the forum are all nonsense.
I remember a chief of China has said: practice is the sole criterion for testing truth. I think these netizens who posted the post criticize this computer school are not the students in the school, or maybe they have not gained graduate certificate of the programmer. So they complained the fault of the school. Once you enrolled in the school, you must abide by the bylaw of the school and teachers’ instruction, preparation and reviewing the class timely. It is the best road
to your final success. Ex-coach of Chinese football team Milutinovic had said “
Attitude decides all”. So I persuade these netizens stop speaking any nonsense,
correct your attitude and study seriously. Otherwise, you have no way to face your parents’ eager hope.
At last I want to say last sentence: ”Please shut you month, the man who speaks
