Dear forum friends,
I am not trying to fish for compliments, but what do you think of this forum, its managers, and most importantly its founder, Canuck David? I am sure this name
rings more than a bell if you are a frequent visitor of HongEn Community. But how well do you know about him? He's actually not as a prolific writer as his sister Mary, who sports the highest "scores" in the entire HongEn society; he has not even written as much as I have. Yet he never fails to help, to encourage, and
to inspire those who need them, whether greenhands or veterans -- and for all these seven years. I can't recall when I began appointment here as one of the managers, but it has sure been a great honor ever since.
To those who are not as lucky as I am, here is something whereby you can learn more about this modern version of Norman Bethune, Canuck David:

It's been quite a while since the above column was produced when David first came to China and worked for HongEn Company. Old as it may be, it suffices to give
you a better idea about what this canuck is like; its topics include what he thinks of China, his family values, tips on English study...he even talked about movies and telepathy! Better still, texts and attendant video clips are both available. The interviews can even be taken as very good listening comprehension materials. We can be thankful that HongEn has kept the column for all these years so
that we can have a closer look at this man that has been shrouded in mystery for so long.
Just come and get it. :P
Sincerely Yours,
Panpanpan.
