Hi Folks…
You may all know that words like Art, Gene, Jess, Dean, Mark, Kelly, Dale etc are all people’s names, but interesting enough when written in small letters they
are actually words used in daily language. For entertainment sake I’ve compiled the following list, just to turn your crank and broaden your horizons.
art - Human effort to imitate, supplement, alter, or counteract the work of nature.
ben - The inner room or parlor of a house with two rooms.
dale - A valleydean - An administrative officer in charge of a college, faculty, or division in a university.
dan - Any of 12 levels of proficiency at the grade of black belt in martial arts
such as judo and karate.
don - To put on (clothing); To assume or take on.
dick - A detective.
gene - A hereditary unit that occupies a specific location on a chromosome and
determines a particular characteristic in an organism.
jess - A short strap fastened around the leg of a hawk or other bird used in falconry, to which a leash may be fastened.
john - A toilet; A man who is a prostitute's customer.
jimmy - A short crowbar with curved ends.
kelly - A special kind of hat for men.
ken - A perception or range of visionmark - A visible trace or impression, such as a line or spot.
may - To be allowed or permitted to:
mike - A microphone.
peter - To diminish slowly and come to an end; dwindle.
ray - A thin line or narrow beam of light or other radiant energy.
tom - The male of various animals, especially a male cat or turkey.
tony - Marked by an expensive, luxurious, or exclusive manner or quality.
And for a topper, here’s something for you to ponder and cure your insomnia…
