Well hello! I have just returned from my yearly escape from
basketball.......the All-Star break! While it would be great to one
day be an All-Star and be among the best players in basketball, I
really enjoy being able to spend time with my wife and get away
from the court.
For those who do not play in the All-Star game, you have four
days to do as you please. Most of the guys in the NBA go on
vacation and get away from the game. It really is a great time to
refresh and recharge your mind for the last half of the season.
This year, my wife, Heidi, and I went to Cabo San Lucas. It is a
small town in Mexico that looks over the Pacific Ocean. It was
beautiful and we really had a great time. We stayed at a place
called Las Pamilla and we went there with my best friend and former
college roommate Mike Dunleavy, Jr. Mike brought his girlfriend and
actually became engaged on the trip, so it was a special trip for
everyone!
The best part of this mini-vacation is the rest and relaxation.
I woke up every day and set up my beach chair by the pool and laid
in the sun all day.I even turned a little tan! There were a lot of
whales that swam by the resort, which was pretty cool. I was able
to finish two books and let my body heal. It may sound like a
boring vacation to you, but for me, the more boring, the better it
is for me!
I saw many NBA players in Cabo San Lucas. Jalen Rose and Bruce
Bowen stayed at the same hotel and I saw Manu Ginobli at dinner.
Everyone had a great time.
Now that I am rested, I am really excited about the second half
of the season. We have played well so far, but we are looking to
improve and make strides in the Western Conference.
Yao Ming looks like he will play soon, which is very exciting
for our team.

诸位好！我刚结束一年一度的假期：NBA全明星周末。虽然能成为一名全明星球员是一件很非常榜的事，但能远离球场，和老婆厮守几日，我觉得也不错。
作为一名没有入选全明星赛的球员，你可以拥有四天的假期。许多的NBA球员都因此获得了一个短假，能够暂时远离球场。你可别小瞧这段时间，它可以让你调整心情，更好地迎接下半赛季的比赛。
今年全明星周末期间，我和老婆海蒂去了卡波－圣－卢卡斯。这是靠着大西洋的一个墨西哥小城。那里非常魅，我们在那度过了一段美好的时光。我们住在一个叫做拉斯－帕米拉的地方，同行的是我的好哥们、大学同学迈克－邓利维。小迈克同学在旅行期间和女友订婚了，这个假期对每个人来说都意义非凡！
这个短暂假期中最棒的内容是：休息和放松。我每天醒来后都去游泳池边，睡在躺椅上晒着太阳。我的皮肤都晒黑了！那儿还有许多鲸鱼，真是太酷了。我还抓紧时间读了两本书，还抽空把治了治身上的伤。可能对你来说，这样的假期有点闹心，但对我来说，越闹心就越开心！
在卡波－圣－卢卡斯我遇到了很多NBA球员。比如贾仑－罗斯、布鲁斯－鲍文和我就住在同一个酒店，而我在餐厅里遇到了吉诺比利。每个人都很滋润。
现在我已经休息好了，我兴奋地等待着下半个赛季的到来。之前我们的表现已经非常不错，但我们还是希望能在西部季后赛中更进一步。
姚明似乎很快就要复出了，对球队来说，这个消息非常令人兴奋。
