自1974年成立以来，廉署为香港带来了巨大的改变。香港由饱受贪污肆虐演变为一个广受国际社会推崇，被誉为世界上最廉洁的国际都会之一。廉署采取「三管齐下」策略，结合执法、防贪和社区教育，透过廉署高度专业和锲而不舍的团队，全方位打击贪污，而达致今天的成果。不过，香港要继续保持廉洁的风尚，实系于公众的支持，以及对贪污继续采取绝不容忍的态度，和迅速举报贪污不法行为。
Established in 1974, the ICAC has helped turn Hong Kong from a city plagued with syndicated corruption to one now upheld as among the cleanest in the world. We have achieved this through a three-pronged approach, combining law enforcement, corruption prevention and community education with a team of highly professional and dedicated staff. The ultimate success against corruption, however, hinges on the public maintaining high ethical standards in all dealings, showing zero tolerance for corruption, and reporting it whenever it occurs.
