CDV今天宣布了《Blitzkrieg》系列的最新一款“资料片的资料片”——《Mission Barbarossa》，这款新作需要《闪电战》或《燃烧的地平线》或《雷霆万钧》的支持。游戏增加了新的战役、新的任务、新的单位以及新的材质。这款游戏将于4月8日上市。
在游戏中，即时战略的玩家们可以看到一个全新的战役，包括9个任务和2个附加任务，这次游戏的历史性有所提高，主要历史背景为纳粹德国全面侵犯苏联的“巴巴罗萨行动”，德国空军在消灭苏联空军及扫平地面设施以后，集中力量支援挺进的德国地面部队。游戏中新加入28个新作战单位，力图将游戏的真实性表现到极致。

Mission Barbarossa marks the thrilling sequel to the globally successful
Blitzkrieg series.
Strategists can look forward to an exciting campaign with 9 missions as
well as two additional missions. The developers of the add-on have given
historical correctness a high priority. You will start with a few tank
formations and re-enact the first confrontations in Mission Barbarossa.
Alongside 28 new units a lot of new textures have been added and convey an
even more authentic game feeling than by the previous versions.
