Sexy and compelling, "Whistler" is a fast-paced original drama series, set in one of the world's most famous winter resorts.
Surrounded by the breathtaking slopes of Whistler Mountain in British Columbia (BC) the one hour drama is an action-packed ride through the lives of both the people who inhabit Whistler and the myriad of travelers who pass through the bustling town, now ramping up to host the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Recently nominated for three Gemini Awards including Best Dramatic Series, Best Picture Editing in a Dramatic Program or Series and Best Performance by an Actress in a Guest Role Dramatic Series, the 13-part series centres on three very different Whistler families, and how their lives are entangled following the suspicious death, in Season One, of the town's Olympic gold medalist snowboarder, Beck McKaye.
