来自美国加州洛城的独立摇滚乐队Silversun Pickups,目前签约在Dangerbird Records旗下。 曾在2005年7月发行他们的首张EP《Pikul》,这张LP也是乐队第一张LP《Carnavas》则发行于2006年7月26日。这张专辑也是乐队的处女作给乐队带来突破性的成功。《Carnavas》的"Lazy Eye" 和 "Well Thought Out Twinkles"分别排在Billboard Modern Rock Tracks Chart的2007年的#5和2008年的#8.
作品风格中扭曲而厚重的吉他声音，使人很容易想到The Smashing Pumpkins. 乐队也声称风格上深受My Bloody Valentine, the Velvet Underground, Elliott Smith, Sonic Youth, Sweet, Modest Mouse和Secret Machines等乐队的影响，当然还有还有The Smashing Pumkins的专辑《Gish》中的 'Rhinoceros' ，以及Sonic Youth的'Washing Machine'等等。
作为乐队领军人物的Brian Aubert司职主唱并吉他，使用一把Epiphone Sheraton II。

另，日本版的专辑多两首歌，不过这张专辑的资源本来就不多，所以无从查找，只能期待以后有机会能淘到碟子啦。Silversun Pickup的09年新专也是第二张正式专辑《Swoon》在即，据说是09年2月会完成，至今没有发现promos，发这张《Carnavas》无损格式，分享给大家。
