Billie Paul Piper is an English singer and actress. She began her career as a pop singer in her teens but is now best known for portraying Rose Tyler, companion to the Doctor in the television series Doctor Who from 2005 to 2006, a role she reprised in 2008. In 2007, Broadcast magazine listed Piper at #6 in its "Hot 100" list of influential on-screen performers, the top woman on the list. She is now portraying Belle de Jour in Secret Diary of a Call Girl.
Walk of Life is the second album by pop singer Billie Piper, released in 2000. Piper's second album did not match the multi-platinum debut in terms of album sales despite producing three Top 30 singles - "Day and Night" went to #1 and "Something Deep Inside" peaking at #4 and "Walk of Life" finishing at #25 on the UK charts.
