Tygers Of Pan Tang是来自英格兰北部惠特利湾的一支老牌金属乐队，组建于1978年，他们是英国重金属新浪潮运动的一支标志性乐队，乐队的名字来源于英国科幻小说家Michael John Moorcock的小说Elric中的一个混乱崇拜的精英组织(an elite group of chaos-worshipping)。尽管一直未能进入超一流乐队的行列，但乐队依然坚持着自己的风格与音乐理念，曾发行的专辑有：

这张专辑依然延续了乐队的传统风格，70、80年代金属路线的复古，个人觉得和Van Helen在某些方面有些相似的感觉。这张专辑中大段吉他华彩渲染出主唱的声音，鼓声富有节奏感，但略显呆板缺少变化。强烈推荐喜欢经典摇滚的朋友收藏。
专辑名和卡百利乐队(The Cranberries)的一首经典歌曲同名，其实更早些时候(93年吧)，吉他大师Gary Hoey也发行过叫Animal Instinct的专辑，看来这个名字真的是经得起历史的考验啊
三者之间应该没太大关系，个人认为。
