STRIKEFORCE
StrikeForce意译为“打击力量”。它是美国一个专业的MMA和踢拳格斗组织，总部在加尼福尼亚州的圣贺塞。在06年3月10 日，StrikeForce举办的名为“Shamrock vs Gracie”的MMA比赛，是加尼福尼亚州批准的第一个MMA比赛，共有18265名观众入场观看，该记录保持至UFC57举行之前。该次比赛的主要事件中，弗兰克 薛洛克拳打KO格雷西家族的成员恺撒 格雷西（Cesar Gracie）。StrikeForce的比赛是在一个六角型的铁笼里进行。
在11月16日举行的名为“竞赛系列（TOURNAMENT SERIES）”的比赛中，选手乔治 圣地亚哥（Jorge Santiago ）夺得淘汰赛冠军。重量级冠军争夺战中，前Pride选手“大锤子”阿里斯代尔（Alistair Overeem）轻松KO对手。为我国散打迷熟悉的散手冠军康李亦以KO方式击败对手。
StrikeForce有实力的选手不多，在Pride中并不太强的阿里斯代尔可以轻松取得重量级冠军，而康李每次的MMA比赛对手实力均偏下，此君似乎一直在挑对手。StrikeForce如想发展，需加把劲了。

ShoMMA: Strikeforce Challengers is a mixed martial arts series produced by the mixed martial arts organization Strikeforce and the Showtime cable network.[1] Similar to Showtime's earlier ShoXC, the purpose of the series is to highlight up and coming MMA fighters.
The second ShoMMA event took place on June 19, 2009 at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington.[3] The event was sanctioned by the Washington State Athletic Commission which, as opposed to other athletic commissions, didn't use one-pound allowances during the weigh-ins. In response, Strikeforce made contracts which automatically defaulted into catchweights to allow fighters the extra pound.[4]
