RPG《圣域》系列的开发商德国Ascaron Entertainment由于经营状况不佳，于今年4月14号向德国地方法院递交了破产保护申请。公司当时的开发任务是为《圣域2》提供一个资料片，以及后继作品《圣域3》的策划工作。好在六月底，游戏发行商Kalypso Media将Ascaron Entertainment收购，并且成立了一家新的工作室，叫做Gaming Minds Studios，这家工作室包含Ascaron的15名开发成员。这样Ascaron的基本人员得以保全，续作也得以继续开发下去。今天我们就看到了这款传说中的资料片《圣域2：冰与血》（Sacred 2: Ice & Blood）。
2004年来自德国的制作公司Ascaron推出了一款动作RPG游戏《圣域（Sacred）》，以类似《暗黑破坏神》的方式进行游戏，推出多种语言版本，也获得了众多荣誉。最新一部是2008年发售的《圣域2：堕落天使（Sacred 2：Fallen Angel）》，这款《圣域2》以全3D的方式进行动作RPG。如今2代资料片《圣域2：冰与血》也被公布，让我们看看这款资料片的新特性。
《圣域2》是一款动作导向的奇幻RPG，玩家将深陷于一场史诗之旅。本作设定在中世纪风格的奇幻王国Ancaria，作为资料片的《圣域2：冰与血》，将增加一名新的Dragonmage职业，一些新的任务和故事情节，新的物品，还有两块新的单人游戏地图以及地图上的全新怪。
2代游戏的故事架构在虚幻的大陆“Ancaria”，在这个大陆上有一种神奇的能量，被称做为“T能量”，很久以前，神圣天使“Seraphim”将各种知识传授给住在大陆上的高贵种族：高等精灵，而高等精灵们很快的就学会运用T能量，让他们的生活更加便利且富裕，但知识虽然教了高等精灵们许多学问，却没有告知T能量潜在的危险性。
不久，在高等精灵间出现了许多分裂，分成了数个小团体，这些团体都想独得T能量的使用能力，所以爆发了内战，在一次大战之中，原本富裕和进步的高等精灵国家开始败坏，导致更多其他种族的生物想要得到T能量，也开始让“Ancaria”瓦解，经历许多战争的地区，变的荒凉无法住人，肥沃的土地成了下一个争战的目标，战争不断延烧，而传说中“Shaddar”所派遣的许多英雄当中，预言将会阻止T能量的战争。
2代原有的角色有Seraphim、Shadow Warrior、High Elf等，《冰与血》加入了新职业“Dragonmage”。

The expansion introduces the Dragon mage, an additional main character, as
well as interesting quests and stories that whisk the player away to new
adventures in Ancaria. Moreover, the add-on contains two new, unique
locations and previously unknown enemies, who will challenge action RPG
gamers with unique tactics of their own. Add to that new in-game items for
each main character of "SACRED 2 - Fallen Angel", and plenty more useful,
innovative features. "Ice & Blood" requires an installation of the original
game.

Note:
This is an addon, it is not stand-alone. The original Sacred 2 is required.
If you're having problems, we recommend a clean install, or if you're using
Windows 7 try running the game in XP SP3 compatibility mode.
1. Unrar.
2. Burn or mount the image.
3. Install a suitable patch (included in /Patches on the DVD).
4. Install the expansion.
5. Copy over the cracked content to the install\system dir.
6. Play the game.
