Runic Games（原暴雪北方创始人之一的Max Schaefer创办的新公司）ARPG新作《Torchlight（火炬之光）》公布了一段新预告片，看上去就像降质版的暗黑3。该作的单机版即将在10月27日上市，数字版下载售价US$19.99。而网游版预计在单机版推出18个月之后才能面市，另外早先消息报道该作全球发行权由中国完美时空获得。
冒险/动作类RPG游戏
《Torchlight》是一款以冒险为主题的动作类RPG。在游戏中，冒险者将从 Torchlight这个城镇出发，进入附近山区寻找能给他们的武器提供能量，但同时却也危及他们性命的魔法矿石。游戏利用简单直接的操作界面，力求呈现出一个充满迅速火爆的动作体验，以及绚烂动人的游戏世界。
三大职业简介
游戏中有三种职业可以供玩家选择。一种是擅长近战的毁灭者（Destroyer），他残酷的手法可以轻松重击许多敌人；链金术士（Alchemist）可以召唤部下帮助他，并且远距离的杀死敌人；征服者（Vanquisher）是一名优秀的射手，她可以采用陷阱混淆敌人的视听。
七大游戏特色
1.随机：游戏的世界是随机生成的，所以每个冒险都是独一无二的，当你每次踏上冒险旅程都会有不同的怪兽、珍宝、解谜以及道具。
2.平易近人的界面：《Torchlight》一开始的设计就是简单容易上手的，直观的界面让玩家可以轻松探索这个多姿多彩的世界。
3.退休系统：当一个角色达到一定的等级之后，他们可以「退休」，退休之后可以赋予具体的福利和补贴到新的角色上面。
4.宠物：玩家可以选择一只宠物陪伴，而且宠物也会跟随玩家一起升级…可以在战斗中帮助玩家，也可以帮你携带物品，还可以执行许多有用的帮助。
5.职业角色：玩家可以自行创造一个个性化的角色，并选择宠物伙伴。透过不同脸形、发型的选择，每位玩家都可以客制化的打造专属於自己的角色。
6.钓鱼：玩家可以在打怪打累了以后前往钓鱼洞放松自己，并且小试一下身手，看你可以钓上什麽东西。有趣的钓鱼将可以让你和你的宠物获得一些好处，当然还有一些其他的奖励。
7.编辑器：Runic Games将提供编辑器给所有的玩家使用，让玩家可以创造并设计分享自己的内容。
