《乐高印地安纳琼斯大冒险2》中，将是乐高系列游戏中首度可以建立你自己的冒险模式、用乐高打造你的关卡，并且分享给你的好友，每个人可以依照电影的经典桥段甚至是自创故事，创造出游戏的战斗与事件。
这次游戏故事取材自电影第四集「水晶骷髅王国」，玩家将跟随琼斯博士的脚步，前进南美丛林、深入秘鲁古遗迹，寻找水晶骷髅王国。不只如此，在这一代游戏中，玩家还可以自己编辑关卡，设计出属于自己的琼斯式大冒险。
游戏特色
◆自由编辑关卡功能
让玩家设计出自己想像的冒险关卡，还可以分享给朋友，看看他们能否过得了关。设计的关卡也可以跟既有游戏中的关卡连接在一起，变成独一无二的游戏新体验。
◆可操纵电影中出现的角色
玩家将藉由搜集文物解开超过60个角色，包括敌人或是配角，例如琼斯博士的父亲、情人玛丽安瑞文伍得等。包括神智不清的老教授、琼斯博士的儿子”Mutt Williams”，还可以骑他的招牌机车，并使用一些特殊能力。
◆重温场景
透过重新制作的各类物件，让玩家能够重温系列四部电影的重要场景，例如驾车在上海进行一场追逐战。
◆琼斯博士的新招式
琼斯博士在游戏中将有全新的表现，例如玩家将可以看到他帅气地用鞭子抓住敌人，然后越过肩膀把敌人丢出去。
