2K Games宣布Borderlands《无主之地》的首款扩充资料片Zombie Island of Dr. Ned《奈德博士的僵尸岛》该资料片是Gearbox Software释出的第一款游戏下载扩充包，延续《无主之地》的核心要素以及刺激的玩法。
故事的背景故事是：奈德博士原本的任务是要让Jakobs Cove的工人们好好活着，结果他的研究成果却好过头了，意外创造出了食人血肉的僵尸和各式各样的恐怖怪物，在该处到处肆虐。玩家必须和奈德博士充分合作，展开一场惊险而刺激的冒险，挑战恐怖的新敌人、体验新的任务，收集稀有的宝物，并且试图治愈Jakobs Cove的居民。
