Bass Amp Room was designed to handle all your bass amp needs, from dirty
rock to modern clean, keeping two equally important goals in mind. The
first was to give the user the best possible sound quality. The latter was
to create an intuitive plug-in which allows for a really fast work flow.
Time is money, but cutting down on time shouldn't mean you have to accept
poor results.
Bass Amp Room consists of a model of a classic bass amplifier, three
distinctive speaker cabinets with click-and-drag mics, and a blendable DI
section with tone controls and a limiter. That's it. And it's all you need
to create a unique signature sound - the strength lies in the ease of use
of the individual blocks and the huge range of sounds these can produce
when combined.
In short, Bass Amp Room is all about getting a sound you know you can
trust, and getting it quickly, from a plug-in you don't need a degree in
computer science to handle.

Many "modeled" compressors are nothing more than futile attempts to get an
off-the-shelf algorithm to match its hardware counterpart by tweaking a few
parameters like the knee and attack/release times. But anyone who has
worked with hardware compressors knows that there must be more to it. And
there is.
The heritage of analog compressors very much showcases the history of
electronics in the previous century. It's the deficiencies of the different
designs and components that give each unit its unique character, and what
started out as technical limitations have now become sought-after sounds.
Simply approximating the most apparent features is not enough to capture
this uniqueness. It takes a model of great complexity and accuracy to make
a digital replica sound like the original with all settings and inputs.

Metal Amp Room was designed to bring you the most brutal, evil and
aggressive sound that is possible to squeeze out of your DAW. It was co
-developed with Patrik Jensen (The Haunted) and tailored to his needs. The
continuous mic placement from Vintage Amp Room is back, but this time with
twin mics with adjustable stereo panning. Get a huge stereo sound with
complex adjustable phasing effects, a plain old one-mic-right-against-the
-cone, or anything in between. The cabinets were measured in the In Flames
studio (previously known as Studio Fredman) by Tue Madsen and Patrik
Jensen. "I have to say I was very surprised when I heard the results. It
really does sound like the way I record guitars and it makes me want to do
a lot more setups for them."
Focusing on usability and sound quality, this is a plug-in that is proud
not to include a gazillion amps, effects racks, patch cords, or a blow
- dryer. Just two channels, two cabinets, two mics per cabinet, and a
wickedly fast noise gate for palm mute galore. Every setting is a setting
that will sound good, so it's almost impossible to get a useless sound.

The Passive-Active Pack is a collection of three very different equalizers,
each with its own character and quirks. The equalizers contain emulations
of real workhorse equalizers, used on thousands of recordings from past to
present.
Passive Equalizer is a three-band EQ with an unprecedented clear and open
sound, a warm low end and sparkling top.
Active Equalizer is Passive's counterpart with three fully parametric bands
and a tight and focused sound.
Focusing Equalizer is an untraditional take on the EQ concept where the
low, mid and high bands move automatically and musically in relation to the
high and low cut filters. It also features filters from the Passive and
Active EQ's as well as an outstanding one-knob Saturation control.
At first glance it may seem like you're sacrificing versatility by using an
equalizer with a limited set of options - why use a three-band equalizer
when you can use your digital equalizer with umpteen bands, continous gain,
selectable Q and different curves all built in? Well, equalization is all
about sound design. Having an equalizer where the designer has already made
some of the choices four you is like having an experienced sound engineer
helping out and giving you directions.
All equalizers are modeled using the same state-of-the-art technology as we
used to create our very popular FET Compressor and the Brilliance Pack
plug-ins for Abbey Road.
